I've been working on hats for the Bridge and Beyond this past week. These 11 hats are a step in the right direction of reaching my goal of 100 hats donated this year. I've been using the Total Fpdc Hat pattern lately because it makes a pretty thick and warm hat. All of these hats were used with the Caron One Pounder yarn that I received in my Joanns order.

DeleteWow, this is fantastic! You are an inspiration.
ReplyDeleteThank you so much!
DeleteLooks like I'll have to bookmark this pattern for my next try of a crochet hat!
ReplyDeleteI really like this pattern because it makes pretty thick hats for only using one strand of yarn. I tend to crochet pretty loosely so I actually modified the pattern and only do 11 dcs in the first round so by the time it reaches the max amount of stitches in a round it is 55 instead of 60. It fits my head much better. I also use a smaller hook. But again, I crochet loosely so I'm sure for the majority of people the original pattern works just fine.
