I started working on the Diamonds Washcloth the other day and I now just need to finish the border and weave in the ends. I've been trying lately to find new patterns and test my skills. I will admit I'm not the best at reading patterns so getting started probably took longer than it would the average crocheter. Luckily, the pattern basically just repeats so if you are able to get through the first 10 rows or so, the rest of the pattern should be smooth sailing.
Both of these washcloths look really good but if I were going by personal preference, just because the patterns attracts my attention I'd say I like the diamond washcloth best. It doesn't look easy to do though!

I like the diamond washcloth the best too and it's really not that hard once you get started.
DeleteLOVE the diamond washcloth! That's so pretty! I'm so glad that you linked to the pattern, because I just might have to give this one a try! :-)

Looking good. :-D I need to start replacing my knit dishcloths, because I've used them to death. I really like this pattern, maybe I can find a similar knit version.
ReplyDeleteThanks Michelle! I'm jealous that you can knit, I've always wanted to learn
DeleteYour dishcloth looks great. And as they say, practice makes perfect :)
ReplyDeleteI'm not very quick at crochet either; and I really struggle with complicated crochet charts.
Thank you, I try to find patterns that will challenge me a little but not frustrate me enough where I don't even want to crochet.
